Ulrika Haake is Associate Professor in Education at Umeå University.
My research interest is about leadership-creating processes in working life and, above all, in higher education. I am interested in management, governance, leadership and organization within the academy as an organization in relation to gender and gender equality issues. Recently, research on leadership and gender in relation to the police organization has also been a main focus. At the Department of Education I am a research leader for an area towards Leadership, Organization and Working Life (LOA) and is one of three convenors for the corresponding research network, Pedagogy in the working life (PIA), in Sweden where Umeå University, Stockholm University and Linköping University are included. The PhD student I follow within GRADE has an interest in digitalization and school leadership, where my contribution thus is about the leadership field. I have also had and have senior positions as program manager for the Human Resources program, vice-dean and dean for the Faculty of Social Sciences and the director of studies for postgraduate education in education.
In my spare time I sing in a choir, do some sport activities and am a football and floorball parent.
