I’m a full professor in informatics with specialization in work-integrated learning at University West, Trollhättan, and I have a Ph.D. in computing science from Gothenburg University. Digital technology, design and learning are my main interests.
My research area is digital technology and learning, with a focus on digitalization in society and how innovative design of digital technology can enrich learning situations and stimulate learning, within schools as well as in workplaces. I have a broad experience from cross-disciplinary collaboration where technology such as serious games, virtual reality and recently robotics are designed and used to support learning processes in various contexts. I have cooperated with professionals and organizations in schools, enterprises, industry, and healthcare in order to conduct collaborative research concerning learning in the workplaces related to digitalization. Most research projects are action oriented, cross-disciplinary and are coproduced together with practitioners.
I have been active building up the doctoral education in informatics with specialization in work integrated learning at University West in close collaboration with our other doctoral education in pedagogy with the same specialization. I teach in the doctoral education and supervise doctoral students.
